In 2017 Ireland, along with her mom, booked me to capture her senior portraits. Since then, I have documented her engagement portraits, wedding, and now her maternity session. There is something so endearing about clients who invite you into their lives, time and time again, to share in their most joyous moments. After the session, I received a text from Ireland telling me her and Luther both agreed that this was their favorite session to date, and I had to agree. Celebrating a precious miracle, their rainbow after the storm, pulled on all of our heart strings. I sent Ireland and her mom sneak peeks later that night and it resulted in all of us crying. Tears of joy for answered prayers and their love story as a whole. Two mommas, at different phases of life, both overwhelmed with emotion for their baby. And a photographer whose heart was melting over the love captured in the images while being filled with so much gratitude from the trust and sweet messages received from my clients. It was the best of days.

A funny little story time for you...before their session I text Ireland excited to tell her I had bought pantyhose for their session so we could do some vintage vibe shots if that was something she would be interested in. She seemed onboard and excited, which made me even more excited! Fast forward to the last portion of the session, I stop and say "oh, let's do the pantyhose thing." I pull them out of my camera bag and slide them over my lens. That's when I hear her say "oh my gosh, you put them on your lens, I thought you wanted me to wear them for the vintage look and I just kept thinking of putting on panty hose in the sand, with sand on my feet." We all cracked up laughing and had the best time with it, but y'all, this girl was going to put on panty hose, in the sand, because she trusted my vintage vision THAT much. And I love her to the moon and back for it!
